Up for auction is this beautiful 1994 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet. I bought it 5 years ago from my parents who bought it brand new for around $80,000. It is a very reliable daily driver. The original soft top continues to look good and work well. The original paint continues to look nice. This is a rare near classic that should promise to maintain its value for years to come. This is a solid, safe, fun Mercedes. As a daily driver, this E320 is not in show room condition. It has a few minor age-related issues that I have tried to highlight in the accompanying pictures and have listed below: -- Check Engine Light is on (I believe it is related to the oxygen sensor; fuel economy remains constant at around 20mpg) -- Liner in the soft top is beginning to sag (the top works extremely well; there are no tears and there is nothing mechanically wrong with it) -- Leather on the drivers seat and front arm rest is wearing out -- 2 minor dings (one on the hood, and one at the right rear fender) and minor scratches in the paint (far fewer than one might typically expect on a 17 year old car) -- Some of the plastic trim on the interior has cracked a bit with age This car has been garage kept and smoke free for its entire life and is looking for a home that can promise the same love and care going forward.
