Up for sale is a BEAUTIFUL 1986 Mercedes Benz 560 SL. A true time capsule! As with any car of this vintage, there are minor deficiencies, however this car is extremely clean for its age. The body of the car has minor door dings, and a few small scratches. The interior deck lid is slightly faded. The driver's seat has a previous repair that is flaking, see attached picture. The air conditioning system worked when we purchased the car in 2007, but now the system does not. The convertible cloth top has tears on the interior portion, yet it does not leak. Exterior- The body has been extremely well cared for, and still shines like new. No dents or warped panels, aside from a few door dings. All brightwork, weatherstripping and moldings are in excellent condition. Interior- In very good condition, all power features work as they should. Aftermarket Pioneer stereo with 4 Alpine speakers. Mechanical- This car runs and drives like a dream, the engine starts every time and the transmission shifts smoothly. No abnormal noises and does not smoke.
