We were told upon purchasing this vehicle that the timing belt broke therefore causing significant engine damage. This Toyota will need a new engine. We were told that everything else worked properly prior to this happening, however, we are not able to test it. Because this car is being sold as a mechanic special and must be hauled/towed away, we will be happy to schedule with you between 10am-2:30pm Monday - Thursday. This sedan has everything you are looking for: Easy to Drive Automatic Transmission, All Power Options, and best of all ALMOST 40 MPG!! When we purchased this Toyota it had a VA state safety inspection of 2/12. That means it was inspected in February of this year and passed. We cannot re-inspect this vehicle since it is not running, however, if it just passed in February it would most likely pass again. Exterior: The Exterior color of this 2003 Toyota is a classy silver. While there are some areas for improvement they are mainly cosmetic. The bumpers are body matching as are the mirrors and door handles. This creates a very nice look of consistency. The tires look to be in good condition. They are 195/65/R15 with factory wheel covers with minimal curb chew. The front grill is stylish. There is a front license plate screws. The small grill area is shaped nicely with the contours. I also noticed that the headlights are very clear. The rear is standard to the Toyota. There is minimal badging back here. As you can see in the pictures, this 2003 Toyota Corolla has a few exterior cosmetic flaws. I notice there are some scuffs/nicks on the rear bumper ( minor) , a larger scuff on the passenger side corner, dings/nicks on the passenger and driver side. There is a larger area on the driver side front corner. Please see pictures. While all of these things are minimal, they do not affect the driveability of this Toyota! Interior: The interior of this Corolla is in better condition thatn the exterior. The upholstery is light gray sport cloth. This tends to hold up better than the leather. The seats are in good condition consistent with the year and mileage. There is some very light staining that I noticed on the passenger side. Other wise there are no tears or rips. Each of the front seats are bucket style with headrests. They are both multi adjustable for your comfort. The rear seat is bench style and will fold down to create more cargo room in the trunk. The Driver side door has the Power options including Power windows, Power door locks. There is also a storage bin on the lower part of each door. On the floor to the left of the Driver’s seat is the Gas door release and the trunk release. Just to the left of the steering wheel you will see the side view mirror controls. The cruise controls are on the right of the steering column. The center console houses the Audio system, which includes an in dash cd player and AM FM tuner. There are also the climate control. Just below you will find a storage area (the wood grain trim door has fallen off, but can be easily reattached). Below you will find another covered storage area. There is a lighter element just above the gear shifter good for charging cell phones or other electronics. Also, located conveniently between the Auto Transmission gear shifter and the dash are 2 built in cup holders. Between the seats are the Shifter and Emergency Brake. The armrest opens up for deep storage. This allows large items to slide from the trunk through into the rear seat area. This rear bench seat flips down in 2 pieces for customized storage. The trunk is large for this size of car. There is also a spare tire located under the floor board. Overall, the Interior of this sedan is Great. For the year and mileage, I am surprised at how good it looks. Once you get this car, just explore for a while and you will probably find another upgrade or two that I didn’t! Under The Hood: This 2003 Toyota Corolla LE is a 1.8L I-4 130 horse power Engine.
