Vehicle Detail
2008 Dodge 3500 Ram Dually Laramie quad cab 4X4 LWB. 22,324 miles. The stock truck had these options: 1) Inferno red crystal paint 2) 68RFE transmission 3) 4.10 rear axle 4) fold away power trailer tow mirrors 5) DVD based GPS navigation system with 6 CD/MP3 changer 6) Rear seat entertainment Video system 7) Engine block heater I purchased this truck new. It has had a lot of work done to it. The component list is below but here is the basic summary of what has been done to the truck. All the attached pictures (except for one-the one with the dirt bike in the back) were taken today (4-15-11). The suspension is adjustable so I took some pictures at different heights. There are three programmed levels. 1 is the lowest, 2- is driving height, 3 is 90% max. It has almost 700HP/ 1200 Lb ft Torque. New turbo, Manifold, intercooler, injectors, 5” exhaust, air intake, Edge w Attitude, etc. I live at 8000 ft so it is hard to feel the power here but I did take it to sea level once and it has insane power. It has 22” ten lug semi truck wheels. Electric running boards with extentions, LED lighting all over. LED lights to light up the bed. LED turn signals. LED marker lights, LED running board lights, LED rear tail light bar. LED clearance lights. On the front bumper-(4) Hella Rallye 4000 HID lights. 2 PIAA 800 HID, 2 PIAA 600 HID, 2 PIAA 2100 HID fog (not mounted yet). On the rear bumper- (4) PIAA 610 HID (not currently mounted). XD WARN 9000 winch on rear bumper. A WARN 16.5TI mounted on the front bumper The Stereo took 4 weeks to complete. There are 4 10” subs in a custom box that is in the bed of the truck. The Bass gets into the cab through a port installed in the rear wall of the cab. This makes it so that I keep all my storage room under the rear seats. There are 3 amps that power the speakers. 2 are installed on the rear wall and one is under the passenger seat. The speakers in each door were replaced with the new 6.5”ones. 2600 watts total. An adapter was put in so that you can watch the DVD on the front screen and the sound comes through the stereo system. Cobra CB. Flashing strobe wigwag lights in front and rear lights.. There are 4 air compressors on the truck. 1 for the ARB air locker in front. Two for the air bag suspension system. 1 for running air to air horns, air connections, etc. There are (2) 2.5 gallon air tanks for the air horns and accessories. There are (2) 5 gallon air tanks for the suspension system. The suspension is the top of the line Kelderman air bag system. 55 gallon titan fuel tank. There are (6) optima batteries. Two in the engine bay, two under the bed mounted in a custom bracket, two mounted on a custom rack behind the transfer case. There is a 260 amp alternator connected to a top of the line battery isolator. It has a retractable bed cover with rails that have slots to mount any kind of rack that you want. The truck has been wired to have a control panel that can do the following (but the actual control panel was never installed): 1) Switch on/off all HID lights on front bumper-in case your laws don’t allow 10 HID lights to be on the highway. ALL HID lights turn on when you turn on the stock high beams. 2) Switch on/off all HID llights on rear bumper 3) Flash rear lights-when people highbeam from behind- I tend to drive faster than most and seem to attract those people who think turning their highbeams on will make me slow down-they turn their highbeams off within 2 seconds when I flash my rear HID lights. If that doesn’t work I turn on the strobes and those always work. 4) Turn on/off air compressor 5) Flash front strobes 6) Flash rear strobes 7) Activate air horn separate of the actual horn 8) Control volume for iPod Here is the (main) component list with what I paid for them all. I have receipts. Issues with the truck-Cracked windsheild 1) fuel tank does not read correctly on the fuel guage. It is 55 gallons but for some reason the guage never reads below ¼ tank. I think its a easy fix and the sending unit needs to be turned inside the tank so that it doesn't hit the side. 2) The fog lights on the front bumper have not been installed but are included in sale 3) The Custom Alien Patrol rear bumper has not been powder coated or installed but is included with sale. 4) The rear lights have not been mounted but wiring is all in place and are included with the sale. 5) It needs to be aligned – I live in a small town and it’s a huge truck that needs to go to a special place to get it aligned. They don’t have the type of machine that can align this thing here. 6) The “control panel” with all the switches has not been made. All the wiring and relays are in place so all the hard work has been done but no switches have been installed. 7) Strobe light fuse is blown so strobes do not work at this time. 8) There are various wires in the interior that hang from the headliner because I had accessories that either don’t work anymore (rear license plate camera) or are not included (Valentine One radar). The camera stuff is there but a rock broke the rear camera so it doesn’t work. 9) There will be two holes in the drivers door panel where a control panel was. This panel controlled the Emergency Vehicle Siren/PA system that will be removed before sale. This system is not legal for anyone other than Police/Fireman. You can see in the pictures that the control panel is there and you can also see where it was mounted but moved, leaving a hole. So now there will be two holes. 10) The speaker box was not put together correctly. It needs to be resealed so that no air escapes out the back. Its not a big deal and the box was actually designed on a computer by an engineer from JL audio so the volume is perfect. The issue is that the guy who installed the subs into it didn’t put the bolts to fasten the back panel in correctly. I have included all the major components in this list but there are many other items that I didn't bother to put on the list. I have used Ebay for many years and realized it is not the most efficient means to sell anything because of all the time you put into answering questions. Please don’t accuse me of being rude with the forthcoming statements because I am just trying to save both you and me precious time. I DO NOT NEED TO SELL THIS TRUCK. I don’t care if I relist it 100 times. I have already picked up a new 2011 dually and figure I start over with the new one and duplicate the one I have now but in a new platform. I don’t have time or desire to answer any questions. Short answer questions are fine. My reserve on this truck is ridiculously low. I paid $60k for the truck and put over $75k into it with all the accessories and labor. This truck needs some TLC that I can not put into it. Everything works on it but needs some tuning to be perfect. I do not have any of the stock parts, so the only thing that you don’t see in the pictures that comes with the truck are the other HID lights and the rear unpainted/powder coated rear bumper. I am not interested in trading for anything unless it is a briefcase of cash. Please don’t ask me “stupid” questions because I won’t answer them and I will definitely not sell the truck to you. I don’t care to fix or change anything on the truck so you take it the way it is. I have listed all the known issues with the truck and I stand behind that list. If you buy it and you find anything else seriously wrong with it, I will buy it back in 2 seconds. Like I said the reserve is ridiculously low for a truck with $135k into it. If you ask me for my reserve I won’t answer and I refuse to sell it to you EVER. I am not a A-hole but I just don’t have the time for someone to get this truck for close to nothing and then keep asking me stupid questions. I have more receipts and manuals than you will want. Again, sorry if I sound rude but if you have sold even a couple of things on ebay I am sure you understand. The truck is located in Aspen Colorado and if we make a deal and any portion changes (if you tell me you will be here on Monday and Monday comes and goes and you don’t show) I will relist the truck in 2 seconds. I don’t have any patience for flaky people. I will not help in shipping costs. If you want it shipped the guy needs to show up at my door. If you want a serious truck with insane power then this is the truck for you. I am basically giving this truck away because I don’t have the time to tune it and finish every little detail to make it perfect. I have the pink slip in hand with no leans. I also require 10% deposit within 2 days of the completion of the auction. This can be done either by wire transfer or bank transfer. No checks, no cashiers checks, no cash. If the money is not in my account within 2 business days I will relist and assume you can’t come up with the money. If you bid on it be prepared to pay for it. Don’t be one of those idiots who bids $300,000 so that you can find out what my reserve is and then retracts it (saying you put too many zeros) because you don’t have a brain. Also don’t ask for my phone number until you have won the auction. I have put everything I can think of in this description. Thanks
