Up for auction is a 1982 GLX Mustang. This is a car in good condition based on its age. The car starts runs and drives well. In my opinion this is what I would call a 20 ft car, it does have 2 outside blemishes and they are in the pictures and I am more then happy to take any pictures you would like just get in touch. Mechanically I would trust this car, it runs and drives well, transmission shifts fine and I don't notice any issues other then it leaks a little oil out the front main of the engine. The engine is a straight 6 with a c5 automatic and only 115,000 miles. The front damage was due to grazing a dear and also caused a slight dent in the fender, the rear bumper is just bad paint, both of which could be fixed fairly easily if the desire was their. Interior wise it is in good condition for a 30 year old car, the seats are in really good condition, the carpet is in fair condition with a few holes worn through, the dash pad is cracked and the rear quarter trim is scratched due to use of the hatch area. The headliner board is in but the vinyl has been pulled off, again you are buying a 30 year old car with potential to be really nice. From a body perspective the car doesn’t have much rust and doesn't suffer from the normal rust areas, there is a little rust in the rocker panels but it appears to just be surface rust. The floor pan has a crack in it where the front seat mounts that needs to be reinforced and could be fixed on a budget very easily. The chrome is in great shape and it was well maintained. In my opinion this would be a good car to restore or to use as a transplant car to build a great project car which was my intention. This car was bought by me to turn into a pro street car but I just have to many projects so seeing if anyone out there would be interested in a unique daily driver or a classic mustang to restore.
