NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!!!! 1997 FORD F-150 XLT 4WD. BIDDING STARTS AT $0.01. Automatic, Cruise and A/C!!!!! Up for sale is a 1997 Ford F-150 XLT 4WD. The vehicle has 276,370 miles but it doesn't drive like it. Just to look at the vehicle it would appear to have less than 100,000 miles. It belonged to my uncle and I purchased it from him a while back. There are only 2 reasons why I have decided to sell. All three of my kids, (who are growing everyday) want to go hunting with me and I really need a full crew cab for all of us and our gear to fit into and I really don't like the flareside. It actually makes the truck bed width a little narrower which is annoying when you are loading anything that is 4' wide or over. However, the flareside on that model truck looks really really cool. For the last 5,000 miles we have been running it up and down the interstate using it as a service truck for a small business that we try to help operate. The truck runs and drives really good. The steering is tight, the motor sounds good. I did put a new alternator and battery in it about 5,000 miles ago when we started using it as a service vehicle. It also has a camper shell and after market 6CD changer with it. I took the camper shell off and that is where the black smudge come from that you see pictured. I really think it would buff out but I haven't had time to try. Here is a break down of what I know and don't know about the truck. What is RIGHT with the vehicle! Starts, runs, and drives GREAT! Drives down the Interstate like a brand new one. (No pulling problems, tight steering) Solid body with no major damage. The truck just looks cool! (I have no certificate to authenticate the coolness its just my opinion). What is WRONG with the vehicle! Black smudge. Seat is torn, (pictured). Powered seats work but the little square cap is gone off the switch. Interior needs to be cleaned. Upholstery is dirty and needs some TLC. What I DON"T KNOW about the vehicle! Never tried to use the CD player/changer so I don't know if it works or not. I have never used the 4WD so I don't know if it works. I tried to put it in 4WD one time but I couldn't get the stick to pull all the way back. The winning bidder can expect a good vehicle that they can drive home. The vehicle does have 276,370 miles on it though and in no way looks new. This is a No Reserve auction and I imagine that the winning bidder will get a really good deal on this truck. I have tried my best to represent this vehicle as openly and honestly as I know how. However, if the winning bidder shows up to get this vehicle and decides that they have changed their minds I will not obligate the winning bidder to pay for the vehicle as long as the winning bidder helps out with the Ebay final value fees. You can probably see it but in case you can't the back glass in the camper shell is missing. I have the rubber seal, it just needs a new glass. GOOD NEWS!!!! It works fine! I guess you have to put the truck in neutral before trying to shift.
