Fundraiser Auction: 2001 PT Cruiser, four door, chrome rims, automatic transmission, grey leather interior, red exterior, keyless entry & electric start w/2remotes, electric door locks, electric windows, electric sunroof, luggage rack, tinted windows, cd player, very ice cold a/c, car is in good shape with a few small rock chips but that will be normal for a car this age. This car runs good and is driven daily. Great gas milage and is comfortable to drive. This car is being advertised locally so it this auction has no bids yet and a buyer purchases the car for our local asking price of $3000 then I will end the auction early. So if you bid, you buy. No Reserve auction. We are selling this vehicle so that my wife can get the medical treatment she needs. The car runs great. Has gray leather seats, CD player, Power Tilt/Sliding Sunroof (Does NOT Leak!) No warranty on this car, winning bidder buys as is. We will not deliver or ship. We might meet the winning bidder within 50 miles from where we live for no cost but we can discuss that after the auction. No guarantees. Bad issues with this vehicle: It does need a new engine thermostat. It sometimes over heats but not every time it is driven. The mechanic I talked to about this said the thermostat is probably old and is starting to stick shut. I am not a mechanic so this will have to be done by the winning bidder. I will be selling items on EBAY to raise money to help pay for my wife’s treatment for her multiple sclerosis. It has been affecting her more these days and she does lose her eye site now and then. Now she was notified a few days ago that her liver is getting bad. No she does not drink alcoholic beverages; she has maybe had alcohol three times in the last six years. She has problems with her legs giving out and going numb which causes her not being able to walk. On the days she is able to walk she has to limit the amount of walking she does or her legs start to weaken and give out on her. We have a fifteen month old baby girl that is always on the go so it takes a lot just to take care of her and my wife does the house work when she can. We are hoping there is enough caring people in this world that will help by donating good items to put up for auction or maybe donate some money to her for the medical costs. We will pick up the items in person if located close enough here in Iowa or you can email us to get the mailing address to send the items to her. We will give you a receipt to show the donation and what it sells for. We will also provide the start date of the auction so you can watch or bid on items if you choose to do so. If you prefer to donate a large item (such as a car or high priced art work) for a raffle instead of an auction then let us know if that is how you want it done, otherwise we will be putting that item up for auction. I love my wife very much and I want her to be able to enjoy our baby girl growing up. She needs to get some of these medical procedures done so she does not have to worry about not being able to play with our daughter, see her grow up or do the normal things with her that we all take for granted.
