I purchased this Jeep and was gonna fix myself but time and money are limited and have to many projects to complete, So Im listing it for sale. This is the condition I purchased it in. Its a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Rear Wheel Drive. 4.0L. The Transmission Doesnt have any forward gears. Reverse does work but whines. When purchased the motor ran and idled fine. Well I started it today It still idles and runs good(whine from front of engine) but it overheated after about 30 mins of idling. This is probably something minor like stuck thermostat cause it didnt overheat before it sat in my yard. It has sat for alittle over a year. Still starts fine. The good: Body is complete with no major dings. Has some minor dings. Interior is complete(minus drivers seat). Interior cleaned up good. Back seat is clean with a few minor stains. Front passenger seat is dingy and could use good shampoo. No holes in Carpet but needs good shampoo job. All glass is good(drivers glass broke). Original Jeep key. Have Title in hand(Contact me for details) Has factory towing hitch. The bad: Transmission has no forward gears- Only has reverse. Drivers seat was broke so I pulled it out. Drivers window is busted out(power window still works just needs new glass). Power locks dont work. Battery is bad. Engine overheats( probably stuck thermostat) didnt overheat when I bought it. Hood Needs to be proped up doesnt hold itself up anymore. Front bumper has dent. Back Right brake light is taped on. Radio works but cd player keeps spitting cds out and says disk error. ABS light is on. Back passenger window went down half way today. seems like its off its track power will make it go up and down but not all the way and I didnt feel like taking door panel off to see what happened. 29 Pictures are below listing. This is how I bought it. Havnt done anything to it except clean the interior alittle. Transmission has not been taken out or hasnt even been looked at. This would be a awesome jeep to fix up. Wouldnt take alot of money to fix either. Main cost would be for a used transmission. Everyone interested is urged and welcome to come look at it before bidding. You cant bid and win.
