Vehicle Detail
Up for bids today is my beautiful vintage 1968 Honda C95 Benly "Baby Dream". This twin cylinder 150 cc black beauty isn't a show bike, but is a gorgeous, ALL ORIGINAL, LOW MILEAGE classic head turner! These highly collectible bikes are becoming tough to find......especially in this condition! I have a clear title in my name. I am moving & will not have a garage, so some toys have to go ...anyway, here is the best description I can provide. If I've left anything out, please send me any & all questions. Runs very well Electric start, lights, etc all work Brakes/suspension work great New tires Tank pads / chrome / emblems are original, intact & look great Black paint is still glossy & shows very well but shows minor wear here & there (check pix) There is a small dent on the front fender (again, look closely at pix). It really isnt noticeable unless pointed out. Original exhaust is in nice shape, but shows some minor pitting & weld repair Rims are in beautiful shape & shine up nicely Petcock should be rebuilt, but has fuel line with fuel on/ off switch installed & works fine. Inside of tank is clean / rust free Battery is a bit weak. If you dont run the bike for a few days, it loses the charge The seat is the ORIGINAL & is in overall nice shape with a couple of very minor rips & the "Honda" on the rear is faded Throttle cable may need replacing at some point...it doesnt snap back to idle when released quickly like it should. I have ridden it this way for a while. Comes with the original owners manual, an aftermarket shop manual & 3 (Yes THREE) NOS, working ignition keys **Please note: Don't be discouraged by my low # of transactions. For years I have bought & sold with my wife under her eBay account (Gumdrop626) feel free to send her a message to confirm. That being said, If you dont have at least 10 feedback, please contact me prior to bidding. eBay fees are too expensive to play games. If I feel like a bid isnt legit, I'm going to cancel it. Please only bid if you are serious.... & if you have the funds & the ability to pick the bike up or arrange for shipping. Winning bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements & costs. Bike must be picked up. (Zip code 10927) I can store the bike for another 30 days or so, but I require an immediate Paypal payment of $500 & the balance to be paid within 7 days of auction's end.
