Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This is a – NO RESERVE – auction. This car will sell to the highest bidder regardless of the final price. General Description: This is one of the straightest unmolested 1968 camaro’s you will find.. Numbers match on everything except the engine block, the original 327 was replaced with a 350 before I got it. The transmission is auto powerglide with a 10 bolt posi. Power steering. I’ve upgraded the original power steering to have drilled slotted discs up front with powder coated red calipers. I also added a electronic ignition MSD with Flame Throwers. The rear suspension has been upgraded from the original single leaf to the super sport multi leaf springs, plus new shocks. Also added was an edlebrock 4 barrel carburetor. I also added new 17" craigers. This is really a Beautiful Ride. It runs great, I made it my daily driver several seasons ago, so I made sure it ran really nice. I haven't done much cosmetic work to the car, but it runs great. Body & Paint: I've had several classic pros tell me the body is one of the straightest bodies they've ever seen. The paint is old, the top of the car has a bit of oxidization and there are quite a few rock chips, I would say the car needs a new paint job, but the body is super! The car has never had any body work, and there is virtually no rust to speak of. Interior: The interior is all original, and in great shape! The only thing wrong is there is a tear in the drivers side seat. I’m sure that the foam could be replaced all around as that gets real old over time. But both of those fixes can be done for a couple hundred bucks. Overall the inside is beautiful, no problems in the head liner, everything is nice. The Bad: Like I had mentioned above, the paint is old, and at some point will need to be redone. The drivers seat has a tear. The car does not have the original stereo, and the old realistic that is in it doesn’t really work and I think has a short. Other then that this car is awesome! Why am I selling the car? I absolutely love this car. It is my dream car, I wanted this car for years, and I finally got it. Since I acquired the car I’ve become a father, and now my wife is wanting to go back to school, and my son will be starting preschool both of those are lots of $$$$ unfortunately I need to get rid of this vehicle to further the education of my family.
