1998 VTEC Honda Prelude base model 2.2 Liter 4 speed AUTOMATIC with tiptronic transmission, 196,840 miles. I have owed this vehicle for roughly 10 years. There is some rust behind wheel wells, which is typical of Hondas. There is also rust on bottom of drivers door and each front fender. Fender and door can be repalced cheap. Any other spots can be repaired. The vehicle is currently my daily driver as the engine runs strong. I just put on 2 new tires and a new CAT converter. Other than the Euro tail lights this car is completely stock. The transmission slips going into 4th gear but does go into 4th gear. I still drive the vehicle daily, so the mileage may go up a 100 miles or so. The vehicle has also been smoked in by the owner. Local pick up only. It does 'surge' at times when changing gears, so like previously stated, you can drive it as I do everyday, but at some point I would recommend putting in a new transmission. It causes check engine light to come on at times, and it goes out after a hundred miles or so. Dashboard light "Brake" light comes on and goes off at will too. Body: I stated that is has bad rust on the bottom of drivers door and front fenders. They will need replacement rather than body work. Other minor rust can be repaired on the vehicle if desired.
