Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 For your consideration is my 2000 Ford E350 Cargo Van. I purchased it last September for my father-in-law. At the time of purchase, it was a wheelchair lift equipped van, which we needed, as my father-in-law was confined to a wheelchair. We were able to use it twice before his passing in October. I removed the lift and the rear seats, converting it to a pure cargo van. In this configuration, it has been as handy as a pocket on a shirt. It has a rear door size of five feet high by four-and-a-half feet wide, and a cargo space that is a clear eleven feet long. (It's amazing how many of your friends will think of you when they're moving!). My hobby is restoring classic motorcycles, and I've been using it as a motorcycle hauler. As you can see in the pictures, I have a three piece folding ramp that I use to ride/walk the bike into the cargo area, where I use removable floor mounting points to tie it down. As a wheelchair van, it has what is called A track on the floor, and the removable mounting hardware locks into the track. The benefits of transporting motorcycles this way instead of on an open trailer or on the back of a pickup are enormous; it's out of the weather, safe from damage from flying stones, stays clean, and is MUCH safer from theft. I AM INCLUDING THE RAMPS AND MOUNTING HARDWARE WITH THE VAN. Despite being eleven years old, the van is in remarkable shape. The body issues are limited to a crease on the driver's side, behind the driver's door, and low on the rocker panel. There is a small dent on the rear, on the driver's side lower corner, and a very slight dent below the passenger side headlamp. The interior is clean, and I put on new seat covers. The cargo area has a rubberized floor, with the previously mentioned A tracks. The floor is soft enough to sleep on -- I've done it. When I bought it, I had the oil and filters changed, the spark plugs replaced, and the transmission fluid replaced. I installed a new battery. I also installed a top-of-the-line AM/FM/CD/MP3/iPod compatible stereo. (I had planned on keeping this for a while!) The van doesn't 'mark it's territory' -- there's no leaks. The heating/AC is working just fine -- it has separate systems for the driver's area and the cargo area. In fact, the heating and AC are so good that they can drive you out of the truck if you set them on 'full'. (And, as my wife points out, so can the stereo!)The tires are in excellent shape, with good tread. I have a clear Kentucky title in my name in hand. The negative: it has no spare tire. It has been as reliable as a hammer for me, and I hate to see it go. I planned on keeping it for years, but I've replaced it with a Step Van that I wasn't expecting to find -- I almost literally stumbled across it.
