NO RESERVE This is a privately owned 1956 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. This vehicle is in need of complete restoration. The vehicle is complete and I have all parts that go to the car. It is not running and the engine is partly disassembled (but I do have all parts) A few specifics on the vehicle:I have a clear Illinois title for the vehicle365 c.i. engine with single 4 barrel carb.Auto trans.4 doorPower-windows, seats, locks, steering, brakes and trunk.No Air conditioning Was garage kept from 1993 until around 1998 and periodically started and moved.Has been sitting outside since 1998Last time it was running was 2000 or 2001.The interior is complete (most electronics have been removed and stored in the trunk, ex: radio, seat motors...)Floor boards have pin hole rust and a few larger rust spots, but really not as bad as one would expect.Exterior has surface rust in places, but the rust doesnt look that deep (I have tried to show that in the pictures)Some of the side windows are cracked, but the expensive glass, front and rear, are intact.Both bumpers have some rust (the front has a couple spots that are rusted through) Buyer is responsible for vehicle transportation. Please keep in mind that this is a very LARGE - HEAVY car! It will not fit on a typical 18ft. utility trailer. 3 of the tires will hold air (1 is missing a valve stem, so it will not hold air at all). I would recomend a flatbed car hauler, winch or come-along to load the vehicle as its not one you will be able to push. Ive had this car for about 14 years (it was given to me by my father) and hate to see it go. I would rather sell it to someone who will restore it and enjoy it, or use it for parts than to let it sit and rot. The vehicle is located in Southern Illinois and is available for sale locally.
