1987 Volkswagen Karmen Cabriolet-Rabbit convertible The bad first, Body good but has a small surface rust spot on passenger side, about the size of a half dollar, and a ding on the drivers door, which can be repaired easily. A small piece of trim missing from left fender, needs painted, needs seat covers ( approx. $40.) and a new top ( $165. to $200) Car is set for 3 + years, has a fuel problem that needs to be fixed before it will start. Will have to be towed or trailered. Also will need windshield replaced (cracked) Now for the good, This is a nice tight, solid little car with air cond. and extras. These are getting rare and are starting to be collectors. This year is hard to find. They run, handle good and get terrific gas mileage. It won't take much to get it back on the road. Everything is there, the tires are fair, radio, lights, everything works. Was going to restore it, but am unable to do this type of work anymore, do to illness. It will make someone a really nice car and be worth quite a bit when it is restored.
