Up for auction is a used 1971 Volkswagon Beetle Classic. Clear title. This little car will make an excellent project. The engine is locked up. Do not know for what reason. The engine has been removed to start the repairs but due to finances has been put to a halt. The engine has been put back into the vehicle with only a couple of bell housing bolts. The clutch disc was not put back on but is included in the auction along with some other parts. When the engine stopped running in the middle of an intersection, someone pushed it out of the road with another car. There front bumper came over the back bumper smashing the engine hood and broke off one of the tailpipes. In all reality this car only needs an engine & hood to be back on the road. An engine gasket set is included. There are a couple of rust bubbles...please see pics. The floor pans look good but the battery tray is another story. There's been a makeshift battery tray made and it looks like the passenger rear floorboard has some rust right by the battery tray...please see pics. The windshield has 5 or 6 rock and one that is a wee bit bigger than that. Tried to get the best pics, please take a look. The tires are good, and the speakers are too. Interior cleaned up pretty good, it just has normal worn issues. More pictures can be taken and sent to your email. If there are any questions, please ask before bidding. Thank you for looking.
