Vehicle Detail

This car is being re-listed AGAIN due to EBAY scammers registering and buying it and then unregistering after the pruchase (Makes no sense to me..) anyway... car is being relisted once again.. Feel free to call me with any and all questions. Here we have a nice 1971 AMC Javelin SST. 2dr Coupe with Factory A/C (compressor even engages) and NO RUST anywhere! Car was factory undercoated and is SOLID! Again.. RUST FREE! No body filler either! Having a TRUE rust free classic will save you 1000's in restoration costs! RUST is the main problem with restoring old cars. The body is never 100% after any rust repair. With this car, you will not have this concern! I have watched several Javelins on EBAY sell for much ,much more and they had rust spots that were disclosed. But they also had very nice tires and wheels.. This car does not have nice wheels. Tires and wheels (new) all around would only cost you about $600.00. Don't be takin in by nice tires and wheels.. changing those is easy. What is important is the conidtion of the body, not the tires and wheels. At the this price you could completely rebuild the engine, tranny, and all the undercarriage and still be into this car UNDER $10,000. And neither the engine, tranny or undercarriage need rebuilding.. Just stating some facts about how you could have a COMPLETELY NEW Muscle Car for $10,000 if you choose to completely restore this car.. IMO, this car as a "ROLLER" is worth my price simply because it is complete and is free of rust and bondo. Many pay this for a rusted out Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, or Mustang.. then spend $10,000 fixing the rust.. IMO, the Javelin is as nice looking as the Mustang, Chevelle, Nova, or Camaro and you can buy this one for MUCH less money..Not too mention, they are MUCH more rare and you will be the talk of all the car shows.. Trust me on this one... The Javelin will stand out at any show! This is a VERY Rare car! You do not see the Javelins much at all! Great Lines!.. Awesome Look! A Real Head-Turner! Painted on 6/29/2011 to Original AMC White Color. Never been driven since painted. Paint is very nice but not perfect. T-Top Vinyl is not there. It has paint in its place. I have, purposely, left off the side trim pieces. I DO have them and they are in great shape. But many prefer paint to the chrome trim. So, again, I have all the trim but have chosen not to re-install it (after the new paint). So that is why you see the small holes and trim holding clips along the sides of the car. I have all BUT the 2 front Windshield side trim pieces. Again.. ALL trim and badges are present and in great shape except the 2 side front glass pieces. Fresh Upholstery inside. New Headliner. Center console is missing the plastic top (wood piece is currently in its place). Pass A/C vent is missing some fins 304CI Engine that has 150PSI in every cylinder (at 5,000ft) and runs great! 118,000 original miles. No smoke , no blow-by, no wierd noises. Freshly tuned up with new Plugs, wires, points, rotor, and carb kit.. There is a small exhaust leak where the manifold connects to the pipe on the driver's side. The engine runs very well and pulls the car VERY well.. Automatic Transmission with Floor Console Shifter. Shifts nice but it has not been serviced in quite some time. Car drives nice! Looks even better! Front end seems tight. Over-all Car is very nice and will turn heads wherever you go! But it is not a perfect car.. A few cracks are in the dash top. Steering wheel has a few cracks in the plastic and the wood trim is not perfect. Front grille has a few cracks here and there but is still intact and looks fine. This car is a real survivor and is a true Classic Muscle Car!! I have priced this VERY LOW considering its condition.. Text, call 208-221-7866 or email if you have any questions. I have many pictures I will gladly email you . Just email me direct at kels@2strokeheads.com and request the pics. No surprises! If you have a question, give me a call.. I am open to to a "buy it now" offer but PLEASE, no insulting offers... This is a very nice car that is in great shape.. It is worth way more than my asking price. I have the car listed locally and reserve the right to end this auction due to a local sell.
