Vehicle Detail

Up for auction today is my 1984 AMC Eagle with only 76,000 miles! I purchased it a couple of years ago from the original owner, who was my neighbor. These Eagles are known for their bullet proof drivetrain & capability in all kinds of weather. I purchased this car to use during the winter & it has performed amazingly well, but I am losing my garage, so any unnecessary toys must go (see my other auction for a 1968 Honda Benly!). This vehicle is in great condition, but is not a show car by any means. There is virtually NO RUST on any body panels or the trunk. The floors are solid & the interior is in great shape with no rips in the vinyl. It is a good, reliable, comfortable UNIQUE, daily driver. I will describe it to the best of my ability & if I left anything out, please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. 76,002 ORIGINAL miles 2 owners (including me) Recent rebuilt automatic transmission (with receipt) 4WD works great! Ice Cold A/C NEEDS BRAKES & EXHAUST (although I drive it the way it is) 4 New Shocks 4 New tires There was a leak from the rear window seal, so the rear cardboard decklid started warping & should be replaced (easy fix) Original AM/FM radio works Headliner is sagging & should be replaced or repaired The vinyl top is in overall good shape with some small tears here & there Paint is in good shape, but is faded & worn in some spots Passenger side front door has a small ding in it, but other than that, the body is in GREAT shape! *****Please note: The original owner took out a new car loan through the People's Bank Of Westchester in 1984 when the car was first purchased. When I purchased the car, I saw the lien noted on the title. The vehicle was the daily driver for the owner's wife, who passed away just before I purchased the car. The owner told me that the loan was paid off back in the 1980's & has no idea what his wife did with the payoff paperwork. I purchased the car anyway & received a title in my name, but the lien from The Peoples Bank Of Westchester is still noted. That bank was purchased & taken over by Fidelity years ago & then was subsequently taken over by Wachovia. Wachovia said they won't issue a lien release form, because there is no loan whatsoever on file, but they will issue me a letter saying such. I will also provide a notarized letter from myself stating there is absolutely no loan on this car..... Plus there is absolutely no bank in the world who would issue a loan on a car this old! Anyway, please ask any and all questions about this prior to bidding ***** Please do not bid if you are not serious......eBay fees are too expensive to play games. If you have less than 10 feedback, contact me prior to bidding. Any bids that I dont think are legitimate will be cancelled immediately. Winning bidder is responsible for pickup or delivery of vehicle. There is no warranty expressed or implied. Vehicle is sold AS IS. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction's end.On Aug-08-11 at 18:14:43 PDT, seller added the following information: ALSO INCLUDED IS THE ORIGINAL SALES BROCHURE, DEALERSHIP BUSINESS CARD, OWNERS MANUAL & VARIOUS PAMPHLETS & WARRANTY INFO
