This is a relist of this truck. I double checked the VIN number and it is as inscribed on the truck in the window and inside the door jam. Up for auction is a strong running, exceptionally clean interior, rusty 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser. I recently purchased this "tank" in order to restore it but have decided to invest more money into my recently purchased Porsche 928. Therefore, this very dependable smooth running SUV will be the project of the highest bidder! This Land Cruiser has over 188000 miles which basically means it is nearly broken in! However, this is not a mint condition Land Cruiser! It is also not priced like a mint condition Land Cruiser. This is the second listing for this Land Cruiser and if it ends without a buyer then I will restore it and offer it at the going rate for a prestine condition Cruiser. To be very clear, it is drivable and dependable but ugly! Nevertheless, the following list outlines what is needed to make this Beast a Beauty: The BIN is a steal...... Really!!! But I know we all want the unbelievable deal soooooo.... Here you go!!!! 1. Body work and paint; The rust needs to be cut out and replaced with sheet metal, treated and painted. (est. $2,500.00) 2. The exhaust system needs to be replaced from the bifurcated pipe to the exit exhaust pipe. (est. $450.00) 3. Tires will eventually be needed, the wheels are fine but I would purchase some aftermarket wheels for cosmetic purposes. (est. $1200.00) 4. A/C needs to be reinstalled, (if you want it or need it), it needs a compressor and condensor. (est. IDK?) 5. Front windshield has a crack that runs acroos the top of the windshield and does not obstruct view. 6. Passenger side rearview mirror is missing, (housing is there, just needs mirror glass).
