This is an ABSOLUTE AUCTION. 1966 Dodge Dart GT Convertible. Equipped with a factory 273 c.i. V8 engine, code correct to the VIN number. A true GT convertible. The car is a great driver and a really sharp looker. Ideal as a daily driver or with a little TLC could be a great show car. Has a newer convertible top and boot with a crystal clear back window. Newer paint that really shines. There are a few small chips in the paint that could be easily fixed with a little touch up paint. Very small chips. New carpeting. Dash is in good shape. The radio was replaced with a modern radio that does not work. Door panels appear to be original and are in nice shape. Front split bench seat has no rips or tears. Rear seat needs upholstery replacement. See photos. Comes with all the trim shown on the car plus several other pieces that were in the trunk when I got the car. Has an original factory luggage rack. Has full hub caps, good tires. All glass is in good condition. Everything on the car works except the radio. Top motor works great. The engine and transmission are original to the car. Has power steering, manual brakes. This would be an excellent car for your young driver and would be a really sporty car without a really big engine. The body has no signs of rust and the underside appears to be very clean. I did the best I could with photos of the underside of the car, but without a lift it is difficult to get good photos. The chrome is marginal but repairable. The back taillight lens covers have some pitting. The bumpers need to be re-chromed but are very useful as a daily driver car. The transmission has a slight oil leak when parked, but the car drives and shifts fine. The radio was replaced with an after market radio, so a cover plate would be needed to install an original radio. I have an antenna for the car. Car comes with a clear Ohio title card, original owners manual, and the original CertiCard under the hood. Please review the pictures closely and feel free to email with any questions.
