Vehicle Detail
For Sale: 1994 Honda Magna VF750C -- Honda's Muscle Cruiser. This bike is ready to ride and in need of a new home. I bought another bike and need to make space in my garage. Don't be fooled by the 750 cc engine size. For the Magna, Honda put the engine from their V4 Interceptor sportbike into the frame of a cruiser. The result is a bike that is deceptively fast and fun to ride. The 750cc V4 generates more horsepower than a Harley Davidson Fat Boy. This bike starts easily, shifts smoothly, and has plenty of power. The Dave Dodge Carburetor shim kit has been installed, giving a more smooth power curve than the stock carburetor configuration. Carbs are freshly cleaned and the battery is brand new. Brakes are in good shape. I installed new brake pads last year. Chain and sprockets are brand new. Title is clear. Tires have been upgraded to Metzler ME880's and I love them. Plenty of traction in the corners. The tires are used but still have plenty of life left in them. Study the photos. The exhaust is stock, in good shape mechanically, and looks really good. Small scratches on the top of the exhaust pipe (from saddlebags -- not included in sale). See the photos. Seating has been upgraded to a Mustang Two-Up Seat and a backrest. This arrangement provides a nice comfortable pillion (passenger) seat, and back support for the passenger. The gas tank has a small dent (approximately 1" high by 2" long) in the right side. This is the result of the previous owner dropping the bike at a stoplight. The result is some cosmetic damage to the tank, but nothing mechanically significant. By that I mean that the integrity of the tank is fine, the interior lining of the tank is smooth and rust-free. There are a few other spots of cosmetic damage as a result of this mishap: some scratches on the right side mirror and on the right side footpegs. I consider these cosmetic flaws minor, and hardly notice them. There are a few flecks of paint missing from the tank as well. Study the photos and judge for yourself. I've put 16,000 miles on this bike in four years. (The previous owner only put 4,000 miles on it.) I rode this bike as my daily commuter, and enjoyed the 40 mpg commuting gas mileage. I also took trips with friends to some great twisty roads nearby. I've taken it on overnight trips a few times, and many day trips with my son as a passenger. Being a Honda, it's extremely reliable. It was a popular bike that was made from 1994 to 2003; it has plenty of after-market support - accessories are readily available for the bike.
