This auction brings you a 1963 Nova Convertible. Convertibles were produced for only 2 years, 1962 and 1963. This is getting to be rare and hard to find car. With yellow paint, black convertible top and geometrical graphics it’s a sure attention getter. Its 350 crate motor, dual exhaust and American racing wheels don’t hurt matters either! Front bucket seats are in great shape and done with black vinyl, the rear bench seat is terrific too. The black carpet is nice and has no holes or wear and is very clean. The B & M shifter is a nice looking addition as well as a Sun Tachometer and Grant steering wheel. The dash and doors are painted with the same exterior yellow with black vinyl insets. It gives it a bright and clean look. This has been a no smoking car as you see the ashtray has been painted with the respectful request. A JVC stereo and cd player make a road trip more enjoyable. But what’s more fun than cruising a classic muscle car convertible down the road, lots of throttle and all that attention! The dual exhaust with Turboflow mufflers is a nice alternative to the radio. It has a really nice rumble to it. 350 Vortec V8 crate engine with less than 5000 miles Mallory Electronic Ignition 4 Core Radiator and stainless Flex Fan 350 Automatic Transmission Rack and Pinion front end with Coil Overs Power Steering Tilt Steering Column Front Disc Brakes 10 bolt rear end American Racing Wheels with Tiger Paw tires 195/75/14 on the front and 205/75/14 on the rear This little convertible will need some work down the road, the paint is driver quality and there is evidence of a scrape on the drivers front fender a couple inches about the wheel well and less than a handful of chips here and there. Not a big deal with a car of this age. The horn is not working. Trunk and underbody look nice, the trunk has original floor and has never been patched. Minor rail repair will be needed on the passenger side only. The doors will need to come off at some point and be re-hinged as they are hanging a little low. They do however close nicely and without problem. Convertible top has a great color, works fine and is in very nice shape—it is manually operated and has a really nice boot cover that snaps over it for a clean look when the top is down. I’d love to add a/c and cruise this little cutie every day but time and cash don’t allow me the luxury! The brightwork on the car is nice and the grill is super sharp. This is a neat little classic to drive for a while as is or to take home and get started with your own designs. The odometer reads 71531 but it is titled mileage exempt. The title is clear and in hand. I am helping a friend sell this car and I will answer any questions in a timely manner. This Chevy Nova has had the same owner since 1993.
