Here is a car for the real Mopar people out there. The car is 99% complete and a lot of extra trim pieces included. It is a running car that has been around the yard and is going to be a great car when completed. I am listing this car for a friend so please bear with me on the discription, I will do my best. This car was purchased in 2004 as a completely unmolested chasis minus the drive train. and hood. He has done a great job to this point but health issues force the sale of a dream. A 1962 Polara 500 with a nice street built 413, 727 push button automatic rebuilt and upgraded to the newer (1969) imput shaft and including I believe a 2500 stall converter. 8-3/4 1965 differential without the external axle nut, Drum brakes. I do not know the ratio. The car was prepped and jamed out in white as can be seen in pictures. Frontend rebuilt and disc brake conversion installed, will need an alignment. Pictures under hood speak for themselves. The car does need complete exhaust from HP manifolds back. There were 2 or 3 small rust holes in the lower body but appears most metal work has been completed, there is some small holes in the trunk pan you may want to repair. Interior is complete including new headliner. The original cardboard Polara 500 headliner is gone but included is the lesser model Polara cloth headliner and hardware to install. Door panels and seats will need redone but are all included. The panels are frayed or cooked on the top otherwise still carry original vinyl. All glass good. What I know is missing Carpet, Exhaust, One small 4 inch piece of stainless trim on drivers rear corner, have not found gas tank straps, but they should be here. Absolutely awsome Polara 500 project. The Buy It Now is less than what is invested. Absolutely a steal at the buy it now price. The reserve will be of course a little under the buy it now about 12%. I am sorry but the price is not negotiable. The car cannot be driven home from here, sorry not that completed. Although it does start drive and stop. Please plan on transporting or having transported. Car sold as is no warrenty. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding. I will answer as quick and honest as possible. Also I can provide additional pictures if necessary. I require a $500.00 nonrefundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end and the remainder within 7 days of auction end. The car can be stored here (outside) for 60 days free. If you need longer storage arrangements must be made. It is the responsibility of the winning bidder to arrange and pay for transporting the car to their location. I can deliver the car to Albuquerque for $300.00 this will put it on the interstate for easier pickup. I do require you to make the arrangements and give me an address and contact person before I can drop the car off. Although my friend wants cash only for his Polara.
