This car is an awesome daily driver or an excellent candidate for restoration. Absolutely no modifications other than replacement parts have been made to this car. It is an excellent driver, smooth shifting, and in spite of its limited horsepower, is peppy from 0-60. Needless to say, it gets excellent gas mileage.Here is a short video tour of the vehicle. Note: the video is silent except for the last 30 seconds, where I start the engine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tzOqLKJE08 Since I received the car in 2006, I have had the following repairs and replacements made by a professional British car mechanic: Complete front suspension rebuild, including axle u-joints and boots;Fuel line replacement;Front/Rear shocks;Front/Rear brakes;Brake master cylinder;Clutch master cylinder;New battery;New water pump. The car has some minor surface rust and bubbling as indicated in the photos and video; however, all steel is firm. The car comes with all documentation, including the original sales receipt, MOT certs until 2006 (when the car was brought to the U.S.), and Service record booklet. It will also come with the original license plate (not pictured). The buyer must make a $500 deposit by Paypal within 48 hours of auction end. The balance, in the form of a bank cashier’s check or personal check, must be sent by overnight mail (FedEx, UPS, etc.) and received within 4 days of auction end. Personal checks must clear before buyer takes possession of the vehicle. I will also accept cash from local buyers. The buyer is responsible for transporting the vehicle, although I will certainly help out with the arrangements.
