For sale is an original unrestored 1926 Ford model TT one ton closed cab truck with the rare Ford express bed pick-up box (made specifically for the TT trucks by Ford). This truck was bought new in southern Colorado and spent its entire life here in our dry climate. Has clear Colorado title! This truck is in very nice condition for its age and has one of the nicest, cleanest, straightest, rust free cabs I’ve ever seen. It even has all the correct handle, latch, and window hardware. The express bed is rough but re-buildable; it’s missing the rear fenders and tailgate. I was going to make this one a tilt dump bed with a rare hand crank chain lift mechanism I have (not part of this sale but is available separate to the buyer of this truck). Currently the bed is just placed and not attached to the truck. I started going through the truck, but alas I have too many projects and my wife also said I have too many TT’s, so someone out there is going to get a very nice solid truck to restore. Mechanically the truck is in excellent condition and would not take much to get her running. I inspected the engine/trans and it’s very clean with what looks like a recent rebuild (has aluminum pistons). Transmission is also very clean – see photo. Generator was removed and tested – works great. Has an auxiliary Warford transmission (allows higher speeds, and better performance on hills). The front wheels have brand new tires, tubes and flaps on very clean rims. Rolls very nice and the emergency brakes work – see photos for condition.
