Up for Auction is a sharp 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Hardtop. As you all know this is one of the most desirable years and models that Chevrolet ever produced. As you can see from the photos the exterior is done in a newer Plymouth Prowler paint, overall the body is very solid and looks great, paint looks real sharp. There are a couple of small chips seeing how this has been a driver. This car has a brand new front windshield with new rubber, brand new side glass front and rear with new vent glass. All of the side trim and window trim is in place, to include the door flippers. The frame, under carriage and rockers on this car are in perfect shape, as you can see from the several pictures of the under carriage. As far as the inside, this 57 has the original seats both front and rear and are covered with newer grey upholstery. All of the door panel’s front / rear are also covered in the same material. The Headliner ( Needs to be installed ) along with the carpet are also in great shape. Pushing this car is a freshly built small block 327 Chevy, Transmission is a turbo 350. Motor is very strong and starts right up, Car is sitting on American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with brand new power disc slotted brakes in the front / drums on rear. Overall this a great south west car that hasn’t been all cut up or molested, there are many new parts on this car, some of them as follows. - All new side glass and new windshield - Painless wiring kit - New door locks with new ignition and trunk ( All keyed the same ) - New power disc brakes with slotted front rotors ( Rear drum were rebuilt ) - New dash trim from Danchuk - Brand new California one piece front bumper - New Chevy and V emblems for trunk and hood - Torque Thrust Wheels - Newer tires with plenty of thread - 57 Chevy Nomad Rear bumper ( Needs to be cleaned up ) As you can see from the pictures this car is rock solid, no rust what so ever and overall just super clean. The interior along with the motor, trunk and engine compartment have all been painted with the same paint as the exterior, shows real nice. I tried to get the best pictures I could of the floor and under carriage. A little background on the car, I received this car from a buddy who was having financial difficulties and the majority of the work was done some time ago. This car has been tucked away for a long time in his garage under cover but due to the economy he had to sell, the pics show what the car is a very solid AZ car. The only thing that needs to be done is a set of exhaust, seals and someone who knows cars to go through it.
