Condition: The body has dents and scratches, and in a few places some small rust spots. I tried to include pictures of all of the most noticeable spots. The interior is clean, in good shape, and generally looks nice, though the front carpets are stained due to wear and tear over the years. Mechanically, I don't know of any issues, big or small at the moment. I am not selling due to mechanical problems, but due to the need for a new car for a growing family. Years ago someone at an oil change shop said it was leaking oil, but if it is, it is negligible as I've not done anything to research it further and there is no evidence of burning oil or having to change or fill the oil any more often than the normal 3 mo or 3,000 miles. I put new Hancook tires on it a few years ago, and they haven't had much miles on them since so they are still in good shape. There's an electrical issue with the car - the interior lights will flash on and off or stay off for a while - especially in cold weather. This issue has existed for years and years. The radio works fine (and tape player), though one of the balance or bass buttons is missing. Also, the time set buttons don't work reliably. About 2 years ago I put in a new clutch, so I think that will be good for a while. The only significant mechanical issue I've had with it was the death of the alternator while I was on a road trip, which ended up in towing. But everything else has been just normal maintenance. Features: I love the 5 speed manual transmission. Even 15 years on, it's a fun car to drive. The sun roof and moon roof are nice too. History: I bought this car new, right off the dealer's lot, in 1995 - my first new car. I bought it in Maryland, where I lived at the time. I've banged up some fenders, but other than that, no accidents. One weekend in July of 2010 we came home from being out of town and found the car running and unlocked, on our same street in a different parked location. We think someone took it for a joy ride and so we filed a police report. But, we've seen no evidence of any problems (the only way it affected us was that we had to fill up the tank). Shipping and payment: Shipping (if required) to be paid by buyer and must involve no coordination from me or change to my work schedule or other committments. For payment, I'll require $500 deposit via paypal at time of sale, then the rest in cash / cashier check at time of transfer (if in person), or via paypal / cashier check immediately prior to transfer. Buyer and I will complete title transfer and bill of sale prior to transferring the car.
