We bought this Explorer last winter to use for skiing. It has performed like a champ! Unfortunately, we are relocating to the west coast and are unable to take it with us. Features: 5.0 Liter V-8 engine. Runs great and is the right amount of power for the size of the vehicle.AWD - works great in snow!Leather interior. Seats are clean and without tears. The center armrest is worn and cracked where the drivers elbow sits. Please see the photo.A/C recently re-charged, blows ice cold. It has front and rear A/C to keep all passengers cool.4 New Bridgestone all terrain tires installed a few months ago and had it aligned at the same time.We also replaced the brakes, front wheel bearings, and radiator. It has an exhaust leak, but otherwise our mechanic gave it a clean bill of health.The body is straight and has not been in any accidents. There is one rust spot in the rocker panel near the rear drivers side door. See photo.The paint is good but has some scratches here and there that are normal for the age. No pealing or fading. I tried to get pictures of the more noticeable scratches. Overall, we have been very pleased with this vehicle and wish it could come with us, but it just wouldnt be practical. Flaws:Exhaust leakCenter console arm rest needs recoveringRust spot on rocker panel near rear drivers side door.Display on CD player works intermittently but the unit works fine as a CD player and radio.A/C works on the max a/c setting but not on the regular a/c setting...not sure why. Heater works fine. These flaws are minor but I wanted to make sure they were all disclosed for your consideration should you decide to bid on the vehicle. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. I would prefer local pickup but will work with you to have it shipped if necessary. We are leaving New York on 8-12-2011 so it will need to be picked up before that.
