You are looking at a 1968 Cadillac Eldorado that basically has been owned by 1 family since new. We bought the car in March 2011 and wanted to keep it for showing and classic car runs. Since we bought the car I have now had to take a job transfer to the East Coast. I have gotten bids on shipping the car and they are more than what I expected,,,but if the car does not sell,,,I will ship the car back east. Since we bought the car we have done some major work to the car. Here are the things we did. Replaced the points/condenser with the electronic version,,,runs much better...replaced all shocks,,,4 brand new tires with less than 100 miles on them. We got the radio to work..it's a little scratchy but it does work. The brakes and suspension have been checked out and they are all in great shape. The A/C was just serviced and it works great!!....the interior is ORIGINAL....can you believe it....it is cloth...not leather....but it is original. The carpet is also original...in great shape...looks wonderful. The power seat works just fine...moves back and forth just like it is suppose to....the headliner is excellent....not a mark on it.....The radiator has been redone and all electronics have been checked. We had the power steering system replaced with all new parts. After a few days of sitting the headlight covers will start to open, but once the car is started they close immediately. These are the things that do not work. Cruise Control does not work. As expected, the clock does not work. There is a very small transmission fluid leak that we have not had fixed yet. I have described the car to the best of my knowledge...look at it!!!! She is in great shape and will be a wonderful car for someone...I hope I can keep her......but if you have any questions please email me...you won't be dissappointed. The original owners did do a repaint on the car, it is a pretty decent paint job but there are a few cracks on the roof on the drivers side that could be repaired. The chrome is in really good shape and has a great shine to it on both the front and back . There are a few other bubble points of paint on the roof. I tried to show them in the photos.
