For your consideration: 1961 Lincoln Continental...the "JFK" car Equipped with the 430 V8 (motor will need complete rebuild as it is not in running condition)and the Cruise-O'matic automatic transmission. Factory AC Suicide doors (first model year these were available ) THE GOOD..all glass, all chrome, all doors open and close correctly (need a little adjusting but solid) the Grill and nose are solid as well as the headliner and most of the interior (seats will need reupholstering)..the dash looks good but for peeling in the left front corner under the windshield ...all gauges present but function unknown.Door panels look good as well.Body is solid and an excellent candidate for RESTORATION The BAD...some holes and pitting in floor and trunk pans and a hole(under 4 inches) in top of right fender ,one missing tire (5 on 5 bolt pattern) tires arent good anyway. Trunk is difficult to open (whats in there?) Again, will need complete mechanical rebuild. The UGLY ...not too much UGLY going on here. Car has been in storage indoors for quite some time so hasnt suffered much from weather...shes fifty but a looker nonetheless.
