1972 Ford Ranchero survivor !!!! My wife and I bought a small tobacco farm in south western Virginia in 1999, this was in the barn in running condition ! It has not been driven for a few years and needs new brakes after sitting for so long, and probably needs new transmission seals or pan gasket too since it seems to be losing trans fluid just sitting there. Engine has been modified with a more aggressive cam, Edelbrock Torker II intake manifold, new Holley 600 carb, and extras. Engine starts and runs just fine and really sounds fantastic. Needs to have the wheel cylinders replaced before driving though as i just don't trust them not to be gummed up after sitting for a couple years without being driven. Parts are very inexpensive for these cars, i think you can replace the entire brake system for about $100 bucks. Tires are near new Goodyear Assurance on Ford racing rims. Have receipt for rims from Ford, they were $1,300 3 years ago. Interior is complete and smells a bit "mousy" where they've obviously sheltered for the winter - hey, it was in a barn, guess i can't complain too much. Everything works on the car (not ready to be driven due to the brakes) last time i drove it, it really turned heads due to the deep rumble from the dual exhaust and the fact that you just don't see these around much anymore. Great car, needs a little TLC, Priced accordingly. Selling due to too many toys, too many projects, and too little time.
