Up for auction is what could be one the nicest example of an early 1200cc Toyota corolla sedan left. It is truly the nicest one I have seen and is at least an 8-10. Itis not perfect but very close. This vehicle has been in our family since new and was parked about 20 years ago until my wifes grandmother gave it to us. It was in near mint shape but I decided that it was worthy of a restoration. Note this car has no rust at all. Floorboards are even rust free. I completely resealed the engine with all new gaskets and rebuilt the amazing two speed transmision. I kept everything original if I could. Note even some of the hoses in engine compartment are still original as is most other parts. I changed all the brake lines for safety sake. Every panel was off and cleaned and prepped.Fuel tank was removed and cleaned. It even has the original spare tire jack and tool kit The interior is as new condition except for the very small tear in the drivers seat from Grandpa's comb while sitting down on that seat. It could be vinyl repaired for under $50. The original floormats are the only option on the vehicle and they are still mint. Everything works on vehicle. The pictures speak for themselves. This car currently hold collector status here in Vancouver B.C Canada. Ihad a few of these as a kid and it truly brings back memories when I open the garage and look at it. But it is time for it to go as I have other restorations to do and no room for Grandma's car anymore. It needs a good home to go to. Note the only thing this vehicle could use is a carb overhaul kit as it is the original carb and idles a little rich. This vehicle needs to be in a car showroom at a Toyota dealership somewhere or museum
