Vehicle Detail
2000 Mercury Villager Estate Minivan with a ?3.3L V6 12V FI engine / automatic transmission. Plenty of features with power driver's seat, multi-disc CD changer/cassette tape player, cruise control, power windows, power sunroof, 2nd row captains chairs & third row bench (seats up to seven with plenty of room), digital instrument panel, power mirrors, power locks, roof rack. Two-owner vehicle (same family) with approx. 113K miles. I have the title in hand (clean). There is natural wear and tear to interior (worn leather seats, some carpet stains, etc.) and body (paint chip off side of hood, paint chipping & fading /scratches here and there but nothing major). The rear wiper is missing. The small rotar that the wiper assembly attaches to is there and works - it just needs the wiper . It has a cracked windshield on passenger side - doesn't hinder driver's side visibility. The panel for radio/CD player doesn't light up. Works fine - may just be a fuse, loose wire, or a burnt out bulb There has been some smoke coming from under the hood and overheating. There was some oil mixed in with the coolant at one point which has since been flushed out. I'm told that it might be cracked head, head gasket, or something else totally, but I don't know. I simply no longer have the time or resources to have it fully checked out and fixed. I'm sure that someone out there does. The A/C works, but hasn't blown cold - possibly due to the coolant having been contaminated. This vehicle has held up well over the years and is definitely good for parts or to tinker with. It CAN be repaired 100% if you have the time and resources - I simply do not. Due to the uncertainty of the repairs needed, you may want to consider having it towed. It hasn't been driven since it started overheating, so I'm not sure how far it would go on its own. Feel free to contact me with any questions (or other offers) you may have, and I can also provide additional pictures upon request.
