For anyone who knows Corvettes, finding true unmodified, original low mileage Vettes is hard enough, but finding one with this low mileage at this price, and loaded with; power windows, power locks, power steering, power disc brakes, bucket seats, dual power mirrors, tilt steering wheel, and 43K original miles, is a rare occasion. This low mileage Vette has never been raced or abused and has never been modified or hit, it still has all emission equipment in tact and boasts only 43,150 actual pampered miles. Mechanically, the car starts quickly and runs flawlessly , passes the strict CA smog test with no problem. Suspension and Transmission have a great solid feel as would be expected on a low mileage well maintained car. Lots of tread on the Goodyears. The paint is the worst part of this Vette, it sat out in the CA sun and the clear went bad, previous owner had it repainted, but the paint on the hood and rear bumper cover has flaws. From 20ft, it looks great, but I would say most owners would want to get it repainted. The undercarriage is unhit and immaculate, ABSOLUTELY NO RUST. The interior is in very good shape, the seat covers and dash pad are new, owned by a non-smoker. There are some small issues, the carpet on the door panels needs to be re-glued, and the power door lock switches are plastic and cracked. The ORIGINAL CARPET is IMMACULATE just like it was delivered from GM..... For the savvy Corvette enthusiast that wants a fantastic low mileage rust free Vette, there will be few opportunities to acquire a collector grade vehicle such as this at this low price. The issues this car does have (paint and A/C needs compressor, small trans leak from sitting, weatherstrip on car is old but I have new in boxes Im including) can be fixed, but you cant take mileage off a high mileage car!
