Up for auction is 1 of our complete restorations on a 1979 Suzuki RM400 This build started with a very low hour bike,Motor work,all new OEM seals and bearings,clutches,brand new rod,new bore 20 over and slight porting done,all new piston,ring,pin,clips,stock pipe and silencer,ignition, air box,carb,intake and air box boots,new air filter.all nuts and bolts,springs replated,polished motor mounts.Has been started and is very healthy. Frame and hubs have been powder coated Polished,Lower fork legs,triple trees,swing arm,shifter,Both stock rm rims polished with new plated spokes and nipples,throttle housing. Frt forks rebuilt with OEM seals and components,Rear rebuilt OEM seals and filled with Ohlin oil and Nytrogen Brand new OEM wheel bearings,seals,Swingarm bushings,chain guide rollers,and slide All brakes and components,Front and rear sprockets,as pictures show,I'm waiting shipment for new counter sprocket it will be on and complete with a new renthal 520 chain,not to worry! Brand new tubes and Mich S-12"s tires,new 909 bars,new grips new levers, cables,new seat foam and cover,all rubber straps bushings all OEM new. Stock tank and Fenders,side covers,Tank and fenders have been painted by a custom painter,I have some other bikes that are raced and does he,the certain paint he applys to the plastic seems to hold up very well except for the gas tanks.I will usually put a race tank on.This bike is awsome it can be made to race but I'd rather have it sit in a show room,it's that nice!!!
