Very rare 1978 242 2 door sunroof 4speed overdrive classic Volvo.All original paint and interior runs great except it pops out of first under load, but first gear is useable to take off.We bought it for our daughter but she can not drive a stick.We did the brakes, new tires,new exhaust,full service, tune up, smog, battery so she would be safe ,it rides very smooth, everything works even the clock, no leaks or noises.Registration is in her name, CA title in hand, tags til 11/2011, ready to use today and forever.I do not know why it has a salvage title but it has never been damaged or painted.This is a CA car without any rust. It is in exceptional condition,it has no cracks, rips, tears or burns in the orig interior, nice orig paint with a few minor dings that are to small to show up in the pictures. It has a crack in the windscreen that we never fixed. The title is same as all California auto titles except in the upper right corner it has salvaged about the size I am typing which is the same print on the rest of the title. This car is 33 years old I bought it for my daughter 1 year ago because it is a safe, reliable, easy to fix car for a new driver the only history I know is it was never out in the sun( as you can see in the pictures) its an orig Cal car with o rust and the other owners kept it in immaculate condition
