For sale is a 1998 Ford cargo van with NO RESERVE. The good- This van has ladder racks and a complete interior bin and shelf system that is very nice. Lots of room to store tools, parts, or whatever else! Also has cage with door behind the driver and passenger seats. Has keyless entry system with power locks. Outside is in pretty good condition for its age, normal war and tear, normal paint fading and minimal rust spots. Tires are good- had them installed approx 5000 miles ago. All maintenance has been done regularly. I don't think it has ever been in an accident. The bad- Keyless entry is not working- could just be bad batteries in the remotes, could be something else. The battery is dead. Something is wrong with the motor and it will need to be towed. It was running just fine, then one day it started sputtering and not running right, so we took it to the mechanic who wanted to charge $85 to tear into it and give a proper estimate- his initial thought is that is has a bad head gasket. We didn't want to bother with it since this van was just a back up van. We have had this van since approx 2003, and shortly after we bought it the motor seized and we had a new crate motor installed. I cannot find the paperwork on the current motor- and am not sure how many miles have been put on the van since the new motor, or since we bought it. I entered mileage of "200,000" in the eBay listing, but I'm sure this isn't correct. There are rust spots on the front and back bumpers but it appears to be more cosmetic than damaging (they aren't rusting through)- a repaint would help. There are also rust spots on the lower doors and other places. This is minimal- just wanted to mention it. This could be a really nice van if you get whatever motor problems fixed, we just don't want to deal with it. This van is sold as-is with no warranties- you will need to have it picked up.
