Here for your consideration is a 1977 Ford Maverick. The story I have received is that a few years ago an upset person took their anger out on the windows of the car with a bat. The windshield, rear window, and both passenger windows are broken and or missing. The windows had plastic duck taped to them, the car coverd, and parked. Unitl then the car was driven. Ran well and everything worked. The battery is dead. The car is mostly complete. If you look at the pics you will find some nice things I think. The front grill is not broke, headlight bezels are good. All turn signal assemblies are good. Window trim , all beauty rings and center caps are still on the car. All the knobs and such are there, the dash pada is not cracked. The speedo reads 55812. I believe it mostly because the obvious wear items such as the brake pedal, streering wheel, door handle, and so forth are good and not worn to the bone. Something that would be associated with 155K miles. When we moved the car the braked were not locked up however the pedal did go to the floor. I am happy to answer your questions.
