Vehicle Detail
I bought this Bronco in Montana from a farmer 5 years ago. Got in it and drove 2700 miles back to FL with no problems. Still an everyday driver and outdoor sports (kayaking, etc). Had body completely restored (taken totally apart) 3 years ago. The picture when it was yellow was before restoration. I get so many comments it is unbelievable and people are always taking pictures of it. Its a great vehicle but want my 67 Ford Galaxie now. Engine is a straight six 170. "3 on the tree" steering column shift with 4 wheel drive as well. Very simple engine and a great work horse. Very easy to work on if you have just a little bit of time and parts are cheap. Carburetor rebuilt last year and all electrical parts under the hood have been replaced in the last two years. Master brake cylinder just replaced. Starts right up every time! No AC, but can be added. if you open up the back hatch and have the windows down, it is very breezy and is fine driving around even during the summer in S FL. Rear main seal needs to be done eventually and brake drums need to be taken off and cleaned. All the gauges work but there is no radio and probably want to replace the current mess of wires (most that seem to do nothing) with a nice new clean and simple wiring harness. Body is in great shape but as you see in the pictures there are some rust spots starting up that need to be tended to but should be superficial rather than deep in the metal since that was all done just a few years ago. There are rust bubbles along the lip of the hood and on the back tailgate and around the rain gutters on the roof and tire rack. All new rubbers were also installed around all windows, doors, etc during the restoration but has come down around the back inside window. Just need to be glued back up - no big deal and will do myself before delivery. Top comes off. Roll bar inside. Entire inside except the dash of course is 'Rhinoed' helping keep rust away and making it easy to clean. 65 Mustang seats in front and a great bench seat that you can mount facing forward or to the side. Have some tow hooks for the front to give with the truck. Has lap seat belts. In the picture you will see there are no door handles. I just have not put them back on after doing some work inside but do have them. Windows work fine. Front right tire is worn due to an alignment issue that I just have not tended to. Can't tell there is an alignment issue when you drive though. Rest of the tires are in great condition. These tires cost about $100 each. http://www.ehow.com/list_7338483_1966-ford-bronco-specs.html Feel free to ask me any other questions. It's a great vehicle and will miss it. Thanks
