Vehicle Detail

This is a 1951 International L130 flat bed truck that I purchased from a local storage unit. The gentleman who left it there had evidently passed away and his family must not have known it was there. All efforts were made to contact family with out any luck in doing so. It was put up for sale locally and I bought it 6 months ago. I had plans to chop it up and make a rat rod out of it. 2 Months ago I made the effort to see if the motor would crank or if it was any good. I noticed that the fuel lines had been un hooked and that it had been prepped for storage. I stuck a battery in it and poured gas in the carb and she fired right up. It has the Silver Diamond inline 6 gas engine that was one of the most dependable engines ever made. It idles with 30lbs of oil pressure, and needs nothing to put on the road. It has a 3 speed on the column and shifts just fine. I have only driven down my road and back, because the brakes are non existant on this truck. Clutch feels very good . I rebuilt the carb and had plans to just make a shop truck out of it. The flat bed is nice and straight and I just hate to chop this truck up. The cab has some very nice patina on it, and very little rust through anywhere. The lower right cab corner has a dent , but no rust through, and the left has very little. It seems that the left wing window was left open and it got rain inside the left side of the cab only. You can see in the photos that the left side floor board only has any issues.Very easy repair. Both fenders are in great condition and so is the hood and running boards. There are 3 very tiny holes right below the back glass. Other than that , the cab is in great shape. I have a 27 T Bucket I'm wanting to finish and the truck has to go. The engine runs very good, and the tranny is very quiet. Please call if you have any questions regarding this truck. 912-321-9477 I did forget to mention that it comes with a bill of sale only. This truck was bought at a storage unit sale, and the owner of the truck had evidently passed away , and the title is nowhere to be found and presumed lost. I live in Georgia , where they don't need a title if the vehicles is older than 1980. Thanks again for looking.
