A BEAUTIFUL CLEAN 1977 HONDA CB400F. Runs and rides perfect!!! Only 6,149 miles.(still riding so it may have a few more miles). Shifts smooth through all six gears. Great handeling middle weight. It needs nothing!!! Work just done 650 miles ago: tune up, new spark plugs, oil change, filters, new tires, front fork seals, rear shocks, cam chain and valves adjusted, carb kit & rebuild, carbs adjusted, chain and battery. The chrome is like new(no rust or pitting). One minor dime size ding on the tank on right side just above the gold stripe by the H in Honda(see last pic). A few minor scratches that won't show on the pictures. Paint is all original. Inside of the tank is clean. The seat is perfect no rips or tears. All lights and horn work as well as electric and kick start. Some chrome is peeling under the exhaust pipes. This can not be seen while the bike is parked or ridden. Other than that the pipes and muffler are solid. All original except for the directional mirrors, header nuts and right side cover. Also the high US handle. bars were changed to the original 75-76 euro bars. The previous owner liked the clean cafe racer look. This is a 77 that was produced in 05/76 so it has the factory rear set controls that are desired on these classics. You will not be dissapointed! They determine the price of a motorcycle based on an average condition and average miles per year. By cc size they figure a 600-999 cc is about 3,000 miles per year. A 400-500cc is about 1,000 miles per year. I know most of you know this but in the past some people didn't understand. To be conservative and realistic a 1977 CB400F with 18,000 - 25,000 miles should be in that $1,800-$2,050 price range in standard (average) clean condition. That's how KBB base there motorcycle values. Lower miles and better than standard are usually more. ... Good Luck!
