The vehicle is in ABSOLUTE SOUND mechanical condition - We have owned it since 2002 when we purchased it brand new - I had just bought my wife a new car and we decided to let the Focus go. The car has been meticulously taken care of - oil changes were religiously done between 3k-5k miles (ALWAYS Motorcraft 5w20 Synthetic Blend oil and Motorcraft filter). Tires have been replaced approximately 2 months ago (like-new) and my wife has driven less than 500 miles on them. Brakes have been replaced approximately 4 months ago and appear to be strong and provide a smooth stopping. Transmission fluid and filter have been replaced in October 2010 and have good remaining life. Other than minor wear and tear damage (minor paint peels on front bumper and scuffs on rear bumper) as visible in pictures, the vehicle drives and looks extremely well. Interior has been well maintained, smoke free, with minor wear and tear. Seats are in great condition, with steering wheel presenting the most significant amount of wear on the upper part of it. The vehicle has a clear title - never been involved into an accident or even a fender-bender. Engine sounds just like when taken of the dealer lot about 9 years ago. My wife and I have been taking great care of this vehicle - ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS used CHEVRON fuel (not only for this car but for my other vehicles as well)- never used any substitutes whatsoever, which greatly contributed to the sustained engine performance and lack of unusual noises. Please note that the vehicle is also listed for sale locally and have already had several offers prior to listing it on Ebay - thus I reserve the right to end the auction early!
