bamcdc Store This is a vintage 1980 CM400A Hondamatic motorcycle. 400cc engine size. It is green in color. Has crash bars, plexiglass windshield, dual leather seat, and passenger foot pegs. This motorcycle has 2 gears, 1st and 2nd. Keep it in first gear until you reach 50 mph then shift into 2nd. So easy to ride, perfect bike to learn on. The battery was new in 2010 but I did not charge it over the winter and now it does not start. Everything is origional to this bike. I was told there is rust in the gas tank and it will occasionally float into the gas line and then gas will leak from the shut off valve. I was sucessful in turning the gas line off then running the bike until the gas line was empty. Then turn the gas line back on and the leak would stop until it happened again. To me the muffler sounds a bit loud, but not as loud as a Harley. I purchased this bike used in 2004 and have had plenty of fun with it but it is now time to sell. The title is clear, ready to be sold. I will not deliver this bike it must be picked up from my home. The tires show wear. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer. My X took care of the bike, all I really did was turn the key and go so mechanical questions I am not so good with.
