Cheap convertible fun for summer! Great weekend and/or shore car during summer, which is what we used it for, but less and less over the years. I am the 2nd owner; purchased in 1996 with slightly under 50k miles. Have only driven car total of 19k miles over 15 years; only 5k miles of those miles came in the last 12 years. That's only a little over 1k miles a year! Car runs great with no mechanical problems. Have always been serviced at BMW dealerships, and later on, only BMW specialist shops in NY and NJ. Recent and notable service during my ownership includes: Timing belt and drive belts changed (last Oct) Oil changed (last Oct) Repaired all oil leaks recently (May) Changed over a/c from freon over to R134; blows cold New brakes at 56k and 64k miles All power windows, locks, radio work Heater core, radiator, and system changed out (2003) Front shocks, struts, control arms, and subframe all replaced (2002) New top when I bought it; no leaks today BBS wheels and tires purchased and installed when I bought it 6 disc cd changer installed when I bought it I've not had any accidents or had any bodywork done. I did have driver's side door repainted when I bought it to take out a scratch, but other than that, I have had no other paintwork done. Any other minor dings or dents I left alone. Car has some other flaws worth pointing out: Some paint oxidation on the trunk Seam on back seat coming undone (see picture) Crack in plastic dashboard (see picture) Oil Service light on dash won't turn off, Brake Lining light goes on and off intermittently. Nothing mechanically wrong with car, just not worth digging around the wiring to fix The lcd display on the clock/on-board computer no longer works Pinstripe could be re-touched if you wanted Winning bidder to submit $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of winning the auction, and is non-refundable. The balance to be received within 5 days and paid via Certified bank check. Car must be picked up within a week.
