Here is a running, working example of an old Trail 70 that you can actually use without worrying about getting it dirty. It is a Japanese export called the Dax and is actually called an ST-70. The guy I bought it from a number of years back said it was pretty rare. The Front forks are easily removed for easy transport and a number of other things that I have since forgotten. It is currently running a Lifan 70cc 4 speed semi auto with a push button starter that I have never hooked up. It comes with a box of original parts including the original engine, skid plate, wiring harness and a bunch of other stuff. This Bike can be used as is to do dawn patrol on or restored into something that you would be afraid to get dirty. Bike has got some surface rust, is missing the headlight lens, and the wiring needs to be cleaned up and maybe a nice coat of Honda aquamarine. The original engine needs rings and a clutch rebuild and the Lifan runs like a top as I pulled it out of the shed and it started on the second kick. I am getting rid of this bike because I don't use it enough due to where I live turning into a police state run by Al Gore and Pelosi. My loss is your gain. Good luck bidding!
