Vehicle Detail
This 1934 Chevrolet Master 4-Door Sedan is an unmolested original with 23,001 showing on the odometer. I cannot verify that being actual mileage, but, by the looks and mechanical condition, I would bet it is! This car sat in dry storage for at least the last 40 years. It was started up regularly so kept in running condition. When I got it, it still had the original cloth-covered spark plug wires on it! Has the original 206 C.I. six-cylinder engine which justs purrs. No smoke.Transmission works good. I drove it home when I bought it here locally. The car has mechanical brakes so no hydraulics to mess with! The interior is original but rough and needs reupholstered. Door panels not too bad but you would want to do it all up right on this car. Floors are solid and still has the rear seat foot rail and robe rail on the back of the front seat. Headliner is gone. Previous owner removed to repair several of the wood roof bows. He put a new top on it,but, it needs redone right because it leaked when I washed it. Dash still looks good with original paint and wood-graining. One rear door window is cracked, rest of glass is good shape. I think the exterior paint is original, getting thin but all there. No rust through on any panels. Front right fender will need some body work on a crease and a crack in the edge of fender. Other fenders are pretty good and straight. The rear apron has a couple of dents from the rear bumper being pushed in. Not bad, just will need some attention. Headlight bullets have a few dents in them. Hood is in great shape. Chrome pieces along the running boards are missing. I have found NO RUST on or under this car! Bumpers are solid and straight but need rechromed. I have all of the original 17" wire wheels that go with the deal. They will need sandblasted and repainted. Also have a set of reproduction hubcaps similar to the original that go with it. Also have set of four Sears Wide-Whitewall tires still in wrappers never installed! These tires are about 30 years old, but, have never been unwrapped. Still new! Have the original owners manual also. This is rare to find a 1934 Chevrolet in this original condition and still driveable. Most of these are ending up as street rods. Clear title in my name. Any questions, call Gary at 402-873-7410 . On Jul-08-11 at 21:30:21 PDT, seller added the following information: The vinyl top material is in good shape and looks good, it just leaks along the front edge moulding. Could possibly seal this and use as is. Thought I might have made it sound worse than it is. This car is nice enough you could enjoy it as an original driver or restore.
