Up for sale is my 1976 VW Bus, AZ Vehicle. I have owned many vintage cars in the past, but I must say this is one of the nicest I have ever had. I did a mild restoration about 6 months ago. I’ve taken very, very good care of it and made it as reliable as it could be. it has been garage keept I drive it on a regular basis, cruising very easily at 50-55 MPH all day long. I don’t ever hesitate to drive anywhere in this bus with my kids. However, you must remember that even though I feel so strongly about this great bus’s condition, it is still a 35 year old vehicle and its performance, looks, and condition are not perfect/mint. Its limitations must be respected and expected. The bus is not in mint condition by any means, but it’s very close to it in my opinion. Body: Extremely good condition, all original panels and sheet metal, has no dents (from what I can tell), and no body surface rust. Paint: Was originally all GREE and I painted recently with VW vintage colors, METALIC TURCOISE & PEARL WHITE . The color is unbelievable. All the people who have seen it at shows have told it looks very original and good. Interior: Is all original with the exceptions of new carpet on the inside, a new upholstery on seats and all panel , i did a new cushion on the back of it for comfort . Springs on the seat are strong and firm. All gauges are in good working condition. Dash is in good condition, with glove box in great condition. Steering wheel is very solid and it good condition. Chrome: Headlight, Emblems, and Handles are perfect. Hub Caps dont need re-chroming I drive it and show it like this all the time. Motor: Original motor: works perfect and has absolutely no issues Transmission: Manual 4 speed on the floor (Zero play and it shift smooth). Fuel System: Rust Free in cab fuel tank with 0 % of fuel gasses inside the cab. All lines are solid and have 0 leaks. Wheels & Tires: all 5 tires have 100 % thread still remaining, no dry rotting. They are color matched Steel Wheels with chrome. the tires have White Wall . just got them on june. Carburetor: 100% original which has been rebuilt and cleaned. Has absolutely no current issues and has no problems whatsoever and idles perfectly.new filter Brakes: Drum Brakes all-around work OK. Electrical: The following items work with no issues: headlights, low & high beams, front & rear blinkers, wipers, and horn. Glass: front glass is fracture and repaired but the rest of the glass is perfect with no cracks, both doors windows rolls up & down great. Window on both sides work great also. Title: Clean, Clear, az, Open, Issued in 2011. BATTERY IS ALMOST NEW JUST GOT IT ON MAY. JUST TUNED .NEW SPARK PLUGS ,ROTOR,ROTOR CAP, NEW OIL/OIL FILTER ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL I DID NOT SEE ANY EVIDENCE OF SMOKERS, BESIDE ASHTRAY AND LIGHTER. I DO HAVE A SMALL BURN IN THE MIDDLE OF FRONT SEATS THAT LOOKS LIKE MY SERVICE TEC LITE BULB. STARTS RIGHT UP . SHE GETS ALL THE LOOKS,\.
