1961 Jeep CJ 6, 4 cylinder F-head, 3 speed transmission, 2 wheel-4 wheel high and 4 wheel low transfer case which has been partially rebuilt, various new steering parts, newer lock-out hubs, new springs (all), body is in rough shape, running gear is in very good condition, the top is homemade metal sides, back and doors (removable) are in good condition-the vinyl top (which is removable via snaps) will need to be replaced, the wiring under the dash has been redone, has newer OEM carb that now needs work and the original carb, 2 complete sets of tires/wheels; 1 set of 7.00-15 Goodyear 6-ply bias-ply in good shape and 1 set of Goodyear Wrangler radials not in good shape, the frame and cross members are all in very good condition. Light duty trailer hitch. This is an old Jeep and due to the motor/transmission/gear ratios is not suitable for highway driving; its top speed is about 45 mph but will go about any place or climb about anything. Is a good hunting or off-road trail rig and would make an excellent “Rock Crawler”.
