The good: NO RESERVE!!! High bidder takes it or Buy It Now; 6 Disc CD Player; Leather; All electric options work properly; Fairly new tires; Recently serviced - oil change & scheduled maintenance prior to engine issue; Car is in near perfect condition in the interior. The bad: While driving the car the engine died - 2 different mechanics have looked at it & both given differing opinions. When car was towed we noticed antifreeze dripping from underneath. No oil or any other liquid dripping. Engine would not turn over or even try to start. VW dealer states that engine was hydrostatic locked, which means water was in engine; however, we were in a drout for atleast 1 mth prior to this happening & no water came in contact with the car prior to engine locking. After draining all fluid out of car & letting it sit for 2 weeks another mechanic looked at it & states that there is no compression which indicates that it could be something as simple as a blown head gasket or it could have jumped timing. It atleast tries to turn over now but doesn't have the compression to do so. It has been sitting up for approximately 5-6 months but all options except engine seem to work. The ugly: When car was loaded onto trailer for towing, the front grill, which is flimsy, was cracked. Also at loading time, the driver side fender was cracked & scratched minorly due to improper loading. Both cracks & the scratch are relatively minor.
