1950 Dodge Business Coupe project. These 3 window coupes are rare with only about 6000 made. This one needs completed but has had a lot of nice restoration work done. The car has had extensive restoration work from the back wheels forward. The front floors were replaced along with the firewall, rocker panels, body mounts, and metal patches were installed on the quarters in front of the rear fenders. The bottoms of the doors were also rebuilt so all rust problems were addressed on the bottom of the car. The front and bottom including the engine compartment, fenders, frame and suspension were then sandblasted and painted with POR 15. Again all of this in front of the rear wheels and all was professionally done. The front is nicely carved for lines and the car is in epoxy primer. The fit and finish are nice. The doors open and shut beautifully as the metal work was done right and the car is now very strong. Behind the rear wheels the car should be finished. The fenders are good except the mounting strips on the rear portion are weak. The trunk needs to be stripped and there is some perforation at the bottom. The steering is disconnected. There is a 68 Riviera tilt wheel included that needs installation. The drive train is from a 1984 Dodge Diplomat Police car. The engine needs to be hooked up. The existing wires are there or there is a a Hot Rod Wires kit to install that comes with the car. The car did run and drive before dis-assembly. The rear bumper has some chrome split by the mounting bolts, the front bumper is new old stock and in nice condition. No dents in either one, complete with mounting brackets. The wheels are 15" aluminum alloy, and we have all of the center caps. The tires are dry rotted but hold air. All of the trim pieces are there including some doubles, new fender welting and new door gaskets. Missing are the trunk latch and driveshaft. Too many projects and not enough time or money. Selling for no reserve, my loss of thousands will be your gain.
