1957 GMC Truck ** You are looking at a very rare 1957 GMC Truck. 270 Engine * Straight 6 Legend has it this truck was named "The John Wayne" because it was the truck Newport Glass Company used to deliver all the custom window glass that was used by John Wayne on his Newport Beach home, -back in the day. The truth is, its a true story. True blue, just like the truck. Just like the legendary John Wayne. Engine is Complete and intact. Body and frame are straight and the vehicle is solid. * It has a relatively minor (straightenable) front bumper crush, and a slight issue as to the front headlight bezel. The original bezel is inside the truck cab, it is complete and intact, it just needs to be straightened and reinstalled. The truck arrived here several years ago, running, but has been untouched since. It WILL RUN, but will need to be worked on first to get it to start, and fully gone through before road worthy. It also needs to have fuel pump replaced. The transmission and drivetrain are in very good shape. This is one of those rarely seen, hard to find truck classics, that is too good to pass up bidding on and even better buy it now bargain.
